Pauline Latham OBE MP congratulates Bombardier on winning recent Southern contract

Pauline Latham OBE has publically congratulated Derby train makers, Bombardier upon the announcement of their success in being awarded a £188 million contract to build 130 carriages for the rail company, Southern.
Writing to the Chairman of Bombardier Transport U.K, Mrs Latham has applauded the company’s success, and wrote “This is just the kind of success I believe that Bombardier needs going into the New Year, and I hope that this contract will help to secure the future of Bombardier in Derby, something I know that the whole nation is rooting for”
Pauline Latham OBE MP said:
“It is great news that Bombardier has been awarded such a prestigious contract.
I am very pleased that the Department for Transport will be partially funding this project.
Derby really is at the centre of the world stage when it comes to top-level engineering and I hope that this order is the start of many more for Bombardier!”
