Visit to Aspen Court Nursing Home as part of the Latham Listens programme

As part of a series of visits to nursing homes in Mid Derbyshire, Pauline Latham visited Aspen Court Nursing Home.

Pauline met with the manager at Aspen Court to discuss the pressures that nursing homes are under. She then went on a tour of the home and met some of the patients.

Pauline said:
“This is a very well run home which caters for a lot of elderly people. It is part of a number of BUPA run homes which are well organised with all sorts of activities put on for residents to help stimulate their memories and provide entertainment. The residents I met were very happy there.”
