Mayoral Year talk to Little Eaton Conservative Coffee Club

Pauline Latham visited the Little Eaton Conservative Coffee Club and gave a talk about her very busy year as Mayor of Derby, which recently came to an end.

Of the many fascinating events she had been to, the one stuck in the minds of her listeners was having to abseil down the 13 story Wilderslowe Tower at the DRI. “I don’t usually do that sort of scary thing”, said Pauline. “I was absolutely terrified. However, I wanted to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer Care organisation, so it was well worth it. I even abseiled down with my mayoral chain on. ”
