Commission on Children And Young People meet to discuss pressing issues, such as gang culture

On Monday April 20th Pauline Latham met with other councillors and officials as part of a Commission on Children and Young People, where discussions were had regarding a topic review the Commission is carrying out on guns and gang culture in Derby.

Pauline said, ‘As a Commission of the Council we are looking at gang culture in Derby which is becoming an issue. We are meeting with a lot of people to discuss how the Council can assist the local police by providing services that may help over come some of the problems that the people engaged in gang culture are struggling with.’
