Pauline Latham Organises Fashion Show in aid of Project Uganda
25th March 2009
A night of fashion and glamour was held in aid of Project Uganda, Pauline Latham’s social action project, at The Ecclesbourne School in Duffield on Wednesday March 25th. A fashion show was put on with students modelling evening dresses and tuxedos from Lori G, a local dress shop in Allestree, and Brigdens in Derby. There were also stalls with bags, jewellery and accessories.
Talking about the Fashion Show, Pauline said, ‘Firstly I’d like to say thank you to Lori G and Brigdens for providing the dresses and tuxedos for the fashion show. Without their kind support the show wouldn’t have happened. I must say, the students who were the models performed brilliantly even though they were nervous before they started. All in all the show was a great success and raised a good sum of money for Project Uganda.’
Further details and pictures from the fashion show, and information about Project Uganda and future events can be found on the Project Uganda website, www.projectuganda.co.uk.
