Allestree Neighbourhood Board Meeting

Pauline attended the Allestree Neighbourhood Board Meeting at the British Legion Hall, Cornhill, Allestree.

The hall was packed with local residents whose main concern was anti social behaviour as well as planning permissions which were put in by developers who want to build on the back gardens of smaller properties.

Commenting afterwards Pauline said:
“I expected the meeting in Allestree to be well attended and I think it shows that this sort of meeting where the Police with the PCSO’s and the councillors is valued by everyone. They find out more about what is happening in their area. They also have the opportunity to raise specific issues directly with council staff, their councillors and the Police.”
