On the 4th December, Pauline had the opportunity to once again welcome home members of the Mercian regiment on their return from Afghanistan.

Pauline and six other prospective parliamentary candidates were briefed by a senior British officer about the strategic situation in Afghanistan.

Pauline joined a group of local celebrities, including Nigel Clough and Tom Glick, manager and president of Derby County Football Club, to open the platform extension at Derby station.

On a cold evening at the end of October, Pauline went with the Mayor of Derby, Sean Marshall, to spend the evening seeing the work of Street Pastors, an initiative led by Ally Kay, Director of Derby City Mission.

Pauline met with His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa Bin Ali Bin Rashid Al-Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom at the Ambassador's London resident on 28th October.

Pauline Latham visited the Little Eaton Conservative Coffee Club and gave a talk about her very busy year as Mayor of Derby, which recently came to an end.

Pauline and some of the students who went with her to Uganda this summer, visited St Nicholas’ Church, Allestree to brief the church members on the progress of the aid projects, and thanked them for their involvement.

Pauline Latham joined fellow Derby Prospective Parliamentary Candidates, Jack Perschke and Stephen Mold, to endorse the Royal British Legion election manifesto on Saturday (17th October).
