It was a busy week for the Project Uganda Team as they continued their fund raising efforts and saw the official launch of their website.

On Monday April 20th Pauline Latham met with other councillors and officials as part of a Commission on Children and Young People, where discussions were had regarding a topic review the Commission is carrying out on guns and gang culture in Derby.

Pauline met with Sergeant Richard Booth who is new to the area to discuss issues affecting Belper.

Pauline met with staff at Pottery Primary School in Belper to talk about the issues that affect them in their job as teachers.

Pauline Latham attended a Little Eaton Parish Council meeting and met the new Erewash Dog and Litter Warden.

Pauline Latham had a busy week meeting with Police officials from around the constituency.

Pauline attended a 'Street Briefing' yesterday with police, a local PCSO and residents outside Stanley Common CofE Primary School on Belper Road.

In a letter to the Editor of the Belper News, Pauline expresses her support for the paper's campaign and encourages everyone to shop in the town.

The site is recognised to be of great universal cultural value and its significance lies in its involvement with the birth of the factory system.
