At PMQs today, I raised what is for me, a tough but very important subject.
Aortic Dissections kills over 2000 people every year, and often the families of the victims have never heard of the disease until it affects them.
This is why I helped to set up The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust, and why today at PMQs I asked the PM for research funding to increase awareness and detection of this disease.
Early detection of the disease is vital, and could save many lives.
