Pauline Latham OBE MP at visit to UTC Derby

I visited the University Technical College Derby on Pride Park on 27th June. The UTC offers specialist courses in Engineering and Health & Life Sciences which are all regional, national and international growth areas.

University Technical Colleges are government-funded academies offering careers-focused education for students aged 13-19, working with employers and universities.

I was delighted to meet with some of those taking advantage of the specialist courses on offer, and with those delivering this vital education to local people.
