Brain tumours are a terrible life-changing and threatening disease. Every day in the UK 50 people face a brain tumour diagnosis. Over 5000 people in the UK lose their lives to a brain tumour every year.
The cause of Brain Tumours are unknown and they can effect anyone, irrespective of age, sex and general health or life style. Brain tumors kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
The impact of a brain tumour on a patient and their family is huge. It can have devastating and costly effect on personal lives.
Pauline said, “I am very happy to support this important cause. I want to see more work do to find a cure to Brain Tumours. I would like there to be more vital funding and attention given to the treatment of brain tumors. Let’s do all we can to minimise deaths from this awful disease!”
