Pauline Latham OBE MP has the pleasure of hosting the Annual Reception of the Rail Forum East Midlands in Parliament.
Rail Forum East Midlands is a great organisation which represents over 150 businesses across the East Midlands, employing over 25,000 people and contributing £2.6bn to the local economy.
The event was attended by around 200 representatives from member companies together with Rail Forum invited guests from across the East Midlands. The Transport Minister, Jo Johnson MP, attended the event and gave an informative speech. He stressed the importance of investment in our railways in the East Midlands.
Pauline said, “The event was a great success! It is always wonderful to host the Annual Reception of the Rail Forum East Midlands in Parliament. It was good to catch up with members of the forum which does excellent work in contributing to the local economy and the UK more widely.”
