Statement from Pauline Latham OBE MP on the result of the EU Referendum:

"The public have clearly spoken and in the end the result showed the dissatisfaction the majority of the country had with the EU. It is the EU who have brought this upon themselves with their refusal to reform. I am very sad the Prime Minister has announced he will step down as he is a tremendous leader for the country and the Conservative Party. I supported leaving the EU and think the UK has a bright future ahead of it outside of the EU".
