I was delighted to host a Q&A event in Parliament yesterday with key industry and media figures to provide MPs with an opportunity to learn more about biomass.

Belper is home to the oldest known example of cluster houses in the world, and are on the doorstep of Mid Derbyshire’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.

They desperately need funding to be maintained properly, and I took concerns directly to the Heritage Minister this week.

Earlier this month, I supported a walking football match at Belper Town FC aimed at combatting loneliness in the community.

Earlier this month, I supported Guide Dogs UK’s ‘High Street Heroes’ campaign, spreading awareness to business owners and staff about the rights of guide dogs owners to access spaces with their guide dogs.

Today, at PMQs, I took the opportunity to raise the concerning case of the World Heritage Site in Mid Derbyshire.

As the MP for Mid Derbyshire, I proudly attended Remembrance Day services in Belper and in Spondon to lay a Remembrance Wreath.

I was honoured to plant a Remembrance Cross in Parliament’s Constituency Garden of Remembrance earlier this week.
