On Monday 8th April I visited Allestree Pharmacy to meet Sairah Hameed, the Pharmacy Manager. Since February, community pharmacies have been able to prescribe medicines for seven new conditions for the first time. As a result, 10 million GP appointments are set to be saved by next winter.
