On Wednesday 18th October Pauline Latham OBE MP attended a ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event in Parliament for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Parliamentary Coffee Morning enabled members to learn of the excellent work of Macmillan Cancer Support and hear from people living cancer. It also provided a welcome opportunity for a cup of tea and a slice of cake!
Pauline said, “Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is a fantastic annual event and I was pleased have the opportunity to attend the coffee morning in Parliament.
I welcomed the chance to learn more about the support that Macmillan offers to people affected by cancer. Macmillan does excellent work in supporting people through a very difficult period of their life.
I would encourage everyone to attend future Macmillan coffee mornings in their community and even join with family, friends or colleagues to host their own. I recently hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning in Little Eaton Village Hall where we raised £410 for this great charity.”
